Yogyakarta, 15 July 2026 — The Applied Bachelor’s Program in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology (TRIK), Vocational College, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is proud to celebrate the achievement of four lecturers who have officially earned the professional title of Engineer (Ir.) after completing the Professional Engineer Program.
The four lecturers are:
1. Ir. Isnan Nur Rifa’i, S.Si., M.Eng., Ph.D.
2. Ir. Prima Asmara Sejati, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D.
3. Ir. Jans Hendry, S.T., M.Eng.
4. Ir. Imroatul Hudati, S.T., M.T.
This achievement is a source of pride for the entire TRIK academic community. The professional Engineer title is not only a formal recognition of expertise in engineering, but also reflects a commitment to applying scientific and technological knowledge responsibly, ethically, safely, and for the benefit of society. The four lecturers have areas of expertise that are closely aligned with the academic character of TRIK. Ir. Isnan Nur Rifa’i, S.Si., M.Eng., Ph.D. specialises in control systems, renewable energy, and instrumentation. Ir. Prima Asmara Sejati, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. focuses on robotics and control systems. Ir. Jans Hendry, S.T., M.Eng. has expertise in adaptive and intelligent control, electronics, and signal analysis. Meanwhile, Ir. Imroatul Hudati, S.T., M.T. specialises in control systems, robotics, and automation.
The combination of academic experience and professional engineering competence is expected to further enrich the learning process at TRIK. Students will not only develop a strong understanding of theory, but also gain deeper insight into how engineering principles are applied in designing, operating, evaluating, and improving technological systems.
For an academic programme centred on instrumentation, control, automation, and robotics, the presence of lecturers with professional engineering qualifications is particularly valuable. Today’s technological and industrial developments require solutions that are not only advanced, but also reliable, efficient, safe, and accountable. These principles are essential in preparing vocational students who will later contribute directly to solving challenges in industry and society.
This accomplishment also demonstrates the lecturers’ commitment to continuously developing their professional capabilities alongside their responsibilities in teaching, research, community service, and other academic activities. Completing the Professional Engineer Program requires dedication, practical experience, and consistency in upholding professional engineering standards.
The achievement contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening the competence of educators and supporting vocational learning that remains relevant to technological and industrial developments. The lecturers’ expertise in instrumentation, control systems, robotics, electronics, automation, and renewable energy also supports SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, particularly through research and engineering solutions that may benefit industry and wider society. Furthermore, professional engineering education encourages collaboration among universities, professional organisations, government institutions, industry partners, and other stakeholders, reflecting the spirit of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
